I live solo with my Lagotto Romagnolo, a non-shedding Italian Water Dog, Mocha-Macchiato!
I am a former TV Journalist, worked in NYC for more than a decade and now am back in Toronto. i work from home, directly across the road from a large park which is gated enclosure.
My backyard is large enough for the dogs to play and it is fenced in.
I love to travel, sadly sometimes without Mocha 🙁

December 9, 2025 at 9:40 pmI had the pleasure of looking after Mocha for a day while his dad was out of town, and it was such a fun experience! Charles was great to coordinate with – quick replies, clear instructions, and he provided everything Mocha needed.
Mocha and I bonded through city walks, neighbourhood exploring, and dog park visits. He’s full of energy but super easy on leash. He also socialized beautifully with the other dogs at the park – friendly, respectful, and confident.
The first few minutes after his dad left were tough for him, but once we stepped out for a walk he became noticeably more comfortable – even with the noise of the city. When we returned to the apartment afterward, he settled in beautifully and made himself right at home. He especially loved watching the world from the window and chasing his ball at the park.
10/10 — I’d be more than happy to look after Mocha again! He’s such a sweetheart!
